The Ellora caves lay in the lap of the Chamadari hills extending over a mile and a quarter in the north south direction and situated 18 km from Aurangabad.

Ellora caves are the finest speciman of cave temple architecture. These caves shrines are memorable for there invaluable contribution to the enormous wealth of Indian heritage.
