Konark Sun Temple
The Konark Temple is widely known not only for it's architectural grandeur but also for the intvicacy and profusion of sculptural work.
The entire temple has been designed in the shape of a chariot carrying the Sun God across the heavens. The huge intvicate wheels of the chariot which are carved around the base of the temple are the major attractions of the temple. The spokes of these wheels serve as sundials, and the shadow formed by thoese can give the precise time of the day. Konark sun temple is also covered with erotic sculptures.

The temple city Konark is situated in the eastern state of Orissa, at a distance of around 65 km. from Bhubneshwar and 35 km. from Puri.
Hampi (Virupaksha Temple)
Hampi is one of the world heritage center. Hampi was the capital of the largest empire in post mughal India.
Virupaksha Temple is the main temple of Hampi, situated in Hampi Bazar. Architecture of the temple is south indian style. The temple has a 120 feet tall tower on its eastern entrance. The work of this style dates back to 11th to 12th century.
